Apparently, I ordered my first “free” Great Cakes Soapworks t-shirt from them two years ago today, and I’ve ordered one each year since. It’s actually a pretty good deal. You can get a white t-shirt with one of their logos that you personalize with your business info for free, OR you can upload your own photo or logo for $4.99 each. I ended up paying around $9 for a t-shirt, including shipping. I don’t know where else you can get just one customized shirt for that price. Here I am modeling the one I ordered this year:

Sometimes they offer free uploads, but they always have something for free. Once you upload your logo, you can use it for any of the products they sell. Last year I created postcards to go with soap samples for goodie bags. This time I got a new set of small car magnets.

They keep adding new products. Next time I’m going to check out their banners! What do you need to order from VistaPrint?

  1. I’ve heard such good things about that company…seems like they are very into excellent customer service!! I like the car magnets…what an awesome way to advertise!

I had to do a double take when I looked at your pic…you look so much like a girl I used to work with!!
.-= Helene´s last blog post ..Are you green? Ecostore USA product Giveaway! =-.

  2. I ordered one of their free small banners a few weeks ago. I did upgrade to the outdoor grade vinyl. All in all I spent $20, including shipping, for a really nice banner. I just ordered some business cards from them too. I almost ordered one of their free t-shirts but ended up passing on it. After seeing yours, maybe I will 🙂

  3. It’s the upgrades that end up costing, but still – $20 is very reasonable for a banner!! You should definitely go for the t-shirt next time! I wear mine to the farmer’s market every week. The only downside is that sometimes people think I’m a franchise!
