Lotion Fragrance Survey

Jojoba-Shea Lotions by Great Cakes SoapworksYes, a survey! That means I need feedback, please! And I will compensate one random participant with a two ounce Jojoba-Shea Lotion of their choice, so read on….

This year I made the decision not to carry my lotions at the farmer’s market. The heat & sun just didn’t treat them very nicely. I have been taking custom orders from people, but I haven’t kept lotions in stock. That means I make up a gallon or so of lotion base at a time and when I get an order, I scent, color, and bottle it at that time. It’s easy to do custom fragrances this way.

Now that it’s cooling down, I would like to have some favorites as well as a few new fragrances in stock. However, I want to keep the choices down to just five, and I’m hoping to match the scents to soaps that I carry. I plan to bring lotions to the farmer’s market starting on Saturday, September 20, and to all the fall shows that follow, and I need your help to decide which five scents to keep in stock!

I will leave the survey open for the next week, and pick a random winner of the two ounce lotion next Monday, September 15. The following survey has 10 simple questions, so it will take just a few minutes to complete:

I’m ready to take the survey!

Update, 1:50pm (Thursday): I am amazed that there are 54 surveys completed! The results just keep trickling in. Unfortunately, once the number of results goes over 50, they lock them down until you pay for their service. I had to pay. Now I can get up to 1000 responses, so just keep ’em coming!! 🙂

  1. I like everything you make. I’m not much of a lavendar person. But, I did get a lavendar-lemon candle from Yankee that I love.

  2. Thanks, Kathy! I’m not a big lavender fan either, but I do like the lavender lemon Gardener’s Scrub soap that I made this year. Go figure.

  3. Good morning!
I am a lavendar fan, but I usually only like using it in the spring and summer. I tend to change my scents with the seasons.
Thanks for the chance to feedback. Have a great week.

  4. Lavendar is a pretty strong smell alone I don’t much like it but when mixed with Vanilla or brown sugar and eucalyptse it smells amazing!!

  5. Hi Amy,
I would love to have lotion in apples and spice and peppermint for fall and winter to match the soap.
    Thanks!
    Nancy

  6. I’m seeing more and more people ask for an apple scent for their soaps and lotions. I never would have guessed that. Sounds really exciting to experment with though.
