Getting the Family Involved

It’s been a busy day! Besides getting the Christmas tree up, I recruited my family to help get things ready for the Great Cakes Soapworks Cyber Monday Sale:

Younger daughter putting soap in shrink wrap bags
Older daughter working on the Christmas soaps
Hubby shrink wrapping lip butter

Don’t think I wasn’t working as well! I finally got the new Butterscotch Lip Butters made! (YUM! YUM! YUM! They will be available Monday as well.) I was thinking I would make more Watermelon while I was at it, but then discovered I didn’t have enough lip balm tubes to make both. My job was tending the lip butter base as it was melting:

About that Cyber Monday Sale – there will be discounts starting Monday that will continue through December 23rd, but Monday is the only day you can get FREE SHIPPING on all orders over $40. I’ll announce the voucher code for the free shipping tomorrow!

  1. Great job on involving the family! This afternoon I’m hoping for help in getting my new, bigger, “production & curing area” created! Wish me luck! 😀
p.s. That new lip butter sounds great -I’m still enjoying the ones I bought this summer.

  2. I love that your family is so much apart of your business. That is really great! The top photo of your daughter reminds me of my oldest… listening to music while she works 🙂

  3. I think it’s great that your family can help you with your soaps 😀 My girls like to help in our ministry. Their favorite part is helping make cotton candy.
