Bye-Bye Gray

I had a fun appointment this afternoon. I wouldn’t have done it for myself – my husband pushed me a bit. Ok, a lot. And my friend Jacki too. But I’m not sure how much of this story you want to hear, so let’s just say that I had an appointment with a new hair stylist this afternoon.

She even took pictures of me! Here is the before:

Feeling pretty shaggy, sporting my natural highlights

During (just for fun):

All foiled up and looking like a rock star!

And finally, here’s what I look like now:

All beautified!

She mixed in three different colors; four counting my natural color that she used to cover the gray around my face. The result is so natural looking! She has a maintenance plan to keep the color looking great, and my goal is to grow my hair at least down to my collarbone. Whatcha think?

  1. You look mahvelous!Really, you have the most beautiful smile. Great job. Maybe I will get up the courage to get something done to mine. My daughter announced the other day,”Mom, you have a ton of gray hair” – Thanks dear.

  2. Beautiful. She does such a great job. She is a doll and has made you look great.

  3. That’s a great hair job! And using three colors. It looks so natural, perfect.

I think my (previous – since I haven’t found a new one yet) stylist would have killed me if I suggested using three on my waist-long hair.
