Congrats to our Challenge Club Winners!

We just finished up another amazing Soap Challenge Club! Our technique this month was the Column Pour, and we had some very talented soapmakers participating yet again. However, this time we had a very clear first place winner – someone who was brand new to the Challenge Club! Congratulations goes to Michele of Tierra Verde Soaps, the grand prize winner of a $75 gift certificate from Brambleberry! Here is her magnificent column pour soap:

Second and third place was a tight race – but Jaime of Crochet Dynamite came in second, and Sarah of Spicy Pinecone is the third place winner. Jaime and Sarah will receive free registration to next month’s Soap Challenge Club!

Here is Jaime’s beautiful Tie-Dye Column Pour soap:

Curious about next month’s technique? We will be tackling the beautiful Taiwan Swirl! I just cut one of my practice batches and I can see that it is going to discolor – so I took a photo real quick! Nature’s Garden just confirmed that they will be our grand prize sponsor with a $50 gift certificate – yippee!!

  1. Congrats to all the participants, there was some beautiful work and a special “Thanks” to Amy for encouraging us to work just a bit outside our comfort zone.

  2. Oh my, that first prize winner’s soap is really beautiful! Good choices for 2nd & 3rd too! Nice work! Looking forward to getting back to doing the challenges.

  3. Congratulations to the winners and thanks to Amy. Have a lovely relaxing Christmas everyone; see you at the next SCC! 🙂

  4. Congratulations to Michele, the colors were really beautiful. Also Congrats goes out to 2nd and 3rd place, also beautiful creations.

  5. Congratulations to the winners and all the participants! Some beautiful soaps there…
Amy – I’m sorry I didn’t get round to making my entry – we’ve recently discovered that we need to relocate within the next couple of months due to my husband’s work, so I’m on a (reluctant!) self-imposed break from soaping at the moment – there’s just too much to do with trying to sell our house and finding somewhere else to live!!
I’ll keep registering though, as I really enjoy your videos and seeing all the entries, and, of course, as soon as we’re settled I’ll be right back into entering again 😀
    Have a wonderful Christmas!
    Vicki
