How To Get Your Kids to Eat Healthy Snacks
If you want to get your kids to eat healthy snacks, you have to start with healthy ingredients. These chocolate protein bars are made with Dutch Chocolate flavored Juice Plus Complete protein powder*, peanut butter, honey from the local farmer’s market, and oatmeal. Quite delicious and nutritious – and my girls gobble them up!
Actual recipe:
1 c. natural peanut butter
7 oz. honey
1 1/8 c. chocolate Juice Plus Complete
1 1/2 c. oats
Mix all ingredients together. Press into a 9×9 pan. Refrigerate. Cut into 1″ or 2″ bars and keep in the refrigerator.
*I received a can of Juice Plus Protein Powder as a door prize at a networking lunch. I was not asked to advertise or give my opinion for this product, but I would definitely endorse it!”

These do sound good, I may have to attempt to make em. I’m not exactly the world’s best cook.
This sounds perfect for LL. I have heard good things about juice plus
@Kelley – Good thing there’s no cooking involved!
@courtney – Yep, I’m sure he would gobble them up!
TRY THIS variation from my friend/Juice Plus distributor:
7 oz. honey
1 c. natural peanut butter
1⅛ c. chocolate Juice Plus Complete
¾ c. uncooked oats
¾ c. high-fiber cereal, slightly crushed (adds a layer of texture)
1 c. chocolate chips
Bring *honey to boil & stir in peanut butter. Add remaining ingredients & mix well. Try using your mixer with dough hooks.
Press into a 9×9 or double recipe for a 9×13 pan. Sprinkle chips over top & press into surface. Refrigerate. Cut into 1″ or 2″ squares or 1″ x 2″ bars.
Refrigerate. Store in individual zip-lock snack-size bags for easy service.
*Did you know that honey is the only food that does not mold?
@Rezi – That sounds great! Love me some chocolate!
I made these with my daughter today, we have been on Juice plus since February and I recommend it to everyone.
