Life Without My Camera

I have to say that it has been difficult for me to blog without my beloved Canon PowerShot A70. Apparently I don’t have words without pictures. I am planning to take some pictures later this evening of the new Caribbean Diva soap that I just made yesterday. I have to wait for my dear husband to get home with his camera.
I’ve been looking a little bit at new cameras. I would really like to get one that will take good pictures of my girls when they are on stage at school for various performances. That was one thing I didn’t like about my PowerShot. It didn’t have a great zoom. Of course, it needs a good macro setting for product photos as well. Oh, and less than $200 would be nice. Am I asking too much?

It’s more than $200, but in my opinion, well worth it. That would be the Canon G9. It’s the closest thing you can get to a DSLR in a point and shoot camera. Fantastic zoom on the auto setting and shoots in low light very well. I use it a lot of the time instead of my big camera where I would not have with other cameras. It runs between $450 and $500 though.
Thanks so much, April! I knew there was a reason I haven’t bought a new camera yet. I truly value your opinion and will check this one out!!
