In case you’ve been wondering where I’ve been, I’m getting ready for the next craft show coming up on Friday. This one is unique. I participated last year with great success. It is put on by the Olathe Medical Center Ambassadors and they literally do all the work during the show. However, this requires quite a bit of prep work on the part of the sellers. Each item for sale must have a price tag affixed with an item code that begins with your initials. I don’t have to be present at the show. People come through and shop, then the OMC Ambassadors take the tags, collect the sales tax, and distribute the money back to the sellers for a mere 10% of our sales. So far I have tagged 248 soaps and 120 lip butters. Tomorrow I will do the lotions, lava lip gloss, whipped shea butter, chocolate tub truffles, and if there’s time, I’ll put together some pre-packaged gift items. I will get my tables set up tomorrow night. Show starts at 7:00am Friday morning and goes through 3:30pm. My products will be in Dr. Bldg. 2, room 315, right inside the door at the Olathe Medical Center on 151st Street, just west of I-35. Come by if you’re in the neighborhood!
