Olathe Farmer’s Market
I have the privilege of selling my soaps at the local farmer’s market every Saturday morning from May through September. It is such a great way to meet customers and interact with you! This is my fifth year at the market, and I look forward to it every week.
Last Saturday, one of my customers asked to take some pictures of me, and I said, “Sure!” I had been wanting to get some pictures to post on the blog, and just hadn’t done it yet.
As you can see, I had a run on soap because of the buy one, get one half price sale. This week I am making lots of soap (which of course will have to cure for several weeks before I can sell it) and getting ready for another Saturday. I’m excited and a bit nervous about this week because I will be accepting credit cards at the farmer’s market for the first time.
If you are ever in the area, come look me up. The market is located in the city parking lot on the northwest corner of Kansas and Poplar in downtown Olathe, Kansas.

I love your lip balm dispaly. Where did you get it might I ask? I’ve been having the hardest time trying to find a way to display/dispense them
I’m so blessed! DH made it. He modeled it after this one at For Craft’s Sake: http://tinyurl.com/4vmco7
We are back from our vacation to the northwest coast and really missed our visits to the Farmer’s Market. I guess we are just in time for the gardener’s soap debut! See you tomorrow.
Great to hear from you, Natalie! I will definitely see you tomorrow. 🙂
