The second type of soap that I’ve made in 2009 is Black Raspberry Creme, a favorite for over three years now! I made the first batch of this soap in September 2005. This time I made a much more dramatic swirl, and ended up with a couple of purple heart shapes! My rubber stamp fit perfectly inside. It’s one of those things that “just happens” and I could never reproduce it.

These soaps will be ready on Friday, February 6.

Next week, I’m planning to try a Chocolate Strawberry soap for Valentines Day, and Cinnamon Bun Coffee Soap for the Wollstein’s and anyone else who has been waiting for coffee soap! I’ve heard that my supplier is discontinuing the Cinnamon Bun fragrance, but I have enough to make at least two batches. I know a lot of you love this one, so perhaps I can find another supplier with a similar fragrance…
