On the Curing Rack: Caribbean Diva
There’s a bit of history to this scent. A little over a year ago, my friend Sarah asked if I could make some lotions for her wedding party. She came over and sniffed some of my fragrances before the big event. As I got an idea of what she liked, I blended this particular scent, and she fell in love with it. Over the course of the next week or so, we came up with “Caribbean Diva” for the name. After the wedding, she graciously gave me permission to sell the lotion, and others have fallen in love with the scent too. It is a combination of a famous designer perfume with a blend of fruits such as tangerine, pineapple, pina colada, sugar cane, and peach with a hint of tropical flowers, added to a duplication of Bath & Body Works Creamy Coconut. Yummy!
This summer I decided to try it in soap. It is just as fabulous! I added three shimmery flowers stamped on each soap, and there is a wisp of white swirled into the sunshine orange. I just made it yesterday, so this soap will be available June 30th at the earliest.
The good news is that the Gardener’s Scrub will finally be available this weekend!! Watch for it on my website, as well as at the farmer’s market on Saturday.
