On the Curing Rack: Heartbeat Soap

I had another idea for a Valentines soap, so I did a bit of experimenting this week. You can see the results on my YouTube videos here and here. The second one ended up being rather interesting, and my YouTube viewers named it for me!

This is Heartbeat; so named because it looks like a heart monitor:

Heartbeat Soap by Great Cakes Soapworks

Heartbeat is scented with our fabulous Black Raspberry Creme, so you know it’s delicious! Only 11 will be available, starting February 6th at Greatcakessoapworks.com

  1. Absolutely cool!! My other life, outside of soapmaking, is working as an RN.
I’m jealous I didn’t think about this…So appropriate for Valentines Day!!
    Such a great creation Amy!

  2. Amy, if this were a real EKG, I would call it A-Fib and the pt would be in deep deep trouble, but as soap…it has a wonderful prognosis. So delicate. Love it!

  3. Oooh, I want to hear more about the fragrance! Is it a blackraspberry vanilla or something more/different?

  4. Amy I think your first soap looks like organs but not a heart! In the middle the blobs kind of look like a pancreas and towards the end they started looking kind of like kidneys! Organs soap doesn’t have too good of a ring to it as the name though… Hee hee hee hee! The fragrance sounds fabulous. -Cynthie
