On the Curing Rack: Patchouli Beer Bar
I made this batch of Patchouli Beer Bars two days ago, and just for good measure, I made another batch today. I figure since it’s been out of stock for awhile, there may be a higher demand. Even if there isn’t, it will be really good soap when it eventually sells. As you might already know, the longer a handmade soap gets to sit and mellow, the harder it will be and the longer it will last in the shower. Patchouli is one of those scents that doesn’t really fade with time. If you haven’t heard why some people can’t get enough of this soap, you can read more about all its wonderful qualities in my previous post about patchouli.
I’m going to make these soaps available for purchase at the Great Cakes Soapworks online store on Friday, February 20. I know you can hardly wait, so I won’t describe to you what my house smells like right now and make you even more impatient. Although, now that I think about it, maybe I could start charging people who want to come over and take a whiff. Ok, maybe not!
