On the Curing Rack: Spiced Apple Cider
I finally made time to create the first soap for fall: Spiced Apple Cider! It’s a one-of-a-kind blend of all the apple and spice fragrance samples I had on hand, plus some extra green apple fragrance as well as a splash of cinnamon and allspice essential oils. In a word: YUMMY.

I used a red gold mica for the main part of the soap, and pulled out a couple of cups of soap to mix in some real cinnamon powder. Part of it was left uncolored, and the other part I added a dark bronze mica – which looks a little bit purple now.

I used some of the uncolored and dark bronze soap to swirl on the tops as well.

With a four-week cure time, these yummy soaps should be available at Greatcakessoapworks.com on September 4th. Next up will be: Pumpkin Pie!
